USA Today 10Best sums it up: “Edgewater Beach is located only two miles west of downtown and is marked by a tall, red-brick Victorian clock tower. Clean and beautifully maintained, the park is an ideal spot for biking, swimming, or picnicking. A fishing pier attracts local anglers, and a fitness course, playgrounds, and picnic areas welcome young and old alike. Don’t miss this convenient slice of nature.” (Which local groups have committed to keep clean with monthly beach clean ups.)
I usually don’t play in the lake or the sand. Instead, my favorite thing to do is grab a fancy iced coffee with a good friend and sit in the park, which is a bluff overlooking the beach, and take in the great view of the Cleveland skyline, sailboats, paragliders and bossy gulls.
What’s the strangest thing you’ve found in the sand or washed ashore at Edgewater?
