break time walkabout, again
W I N D B L O W N
Ok, you caught me. So I already explored Tremont once. But there is simply too much to notice on just one break time stroll… or even two.
So anyway, here’re a couple fun facts I’ve heard about the neighborhood. 1. The heart of Tremont is Lincoln Park, which was named when President Lincoln brought Union troops to the area during the Civil War. 2. Tremont was home to the short-lived Cleveland University. This is reflected in neighborhood street names like University, Professor and Literary.
Can you imagine a university in Tremont, anchoring the greatest concentration of art galleries in Cleveland and some of the tastiest restaurants in town?
